I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my YouTube channel’s performance, and I wanted to share something that even surprised me. Some of my videos are achieving an RPM of $400 to $900!
What is RPM?
For those who don’t know, RPM stands for Revenue Per Mille, and it’s the amount of money I earn for every 1,000 views on a video. It includes revenue from ads, YouTube Premium, memberships, and Super Chats. To put my numbers in perspective, the average RPM on YouTube can range from $1 to $20, depending on the niche.
These are my highest paying so far!

earnings from 8 views, earns anywhere from $3.50 to $7.00

How is My RPM So High?
Honestly, it’s a combination of factors. My channel focuses on [Your Niche], which is known to be a high-value category for advertisers. I also have an incredibly engaged audience primarily from [Mention top countries if you’re comfortable], which also plays a significant role.
I’ve also focused on creating high-quality, in-depth videos that are over 8 minutes long, allowing for more ad opportunities. But most importantly, I believe it’s the incredible support and engagement from you, my audience, that has made this possible.
Tips for Other Creators to Increase Their RPM:
While my results are exceptional, here are a few strategies that can help you boost your channel’s RPM:
- Focus on a High-Value Niche: Content in areas like finance, technology, and business generally attracts higher-paying ads.
- Know Your Audience: Understand where your most engaged viewers are from and tailor your content to them.
- Increase Viewer Engagement: Encourage likes, comments, and shares to signal your video’s value to YouTube.
- Optimize for Mid-Roll Ads: Create videos longer than 8 minutes to include more ad breaks.
I’m incredibly grateful for the success of my channel, and I hope this gives some insight into the world of YouTube monetization.
